Daily Guest Policies

Daily Guest Passes for the Middleburg Heights Community Center are available for purchase every day, except Thursdays.  Thursdays are reserved for the exclusive use of Community Center members and Middleburg Heights Residents.

Resident and non-resident guests, ages 18 years of age and older, purchasing a guest pass will be required to provide a valid driver’s license or state ID card.  The provided driver’s license or ID card will be scanned against the National Sexual Offenders Registry and for building usage purposes.

Should your driver’s license or state ID card match a National Sexual Offender Registry record or if you do not provide a valid driver’s license or state ID card, you will not be permitted to enter the facility.

Military Memberships

The Middleburg Heights Community Center is proud to offer a complimentary membership to any resident or individual who works full time in our city, that is currently serving on active duty in our armed forces.  This includes the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, or any Reserve / National Guard component thereof.  For those individuals who wish, the value of their complimentary membership may be applied towards the purchase of a family membership.  Proof of residency, employment, and current military status required.

Extended Stay Guest Policies

Extended Stay Guest Passes are a courtesy extended to our members, who may have family/friends staying with them for an extended period of time. Passes are offered in 1 week increments, up to 4 weeks, with any stay over 3 days being considered 1 week.  No refunds, nor extensions will be provided for unused days.  The rates are as follows:

  • Ages 2 & under are free.
  • 3-59 years of age and older — $20/week

Membership FAQs

Do you have to be a resident to be a member?

No, non-residents can purchase a yearly membership as an individual (ages 19-59), family (children 23 or younger) or senior (age 60+). Memberships are sold year round. Members are eligible for all member rates in Learn to Swim classes, programs, rentals and athletic programs.

Can I walk in and buy a guest pass?

No. ALL guests must be accompanied by a member who has purchased a member guest punch pass.

How do you become a SilverSneaker?

Check with your insurance company to see if they provide this benefit. You can also go to opens in a new windowwww.silversneakers.com for details on the program.

What age does senior rate begin?

Regular Membership - Age 60
Silver Sneaker Membership - Age 65

Does a membership include any classes?

Silver Sneaker Memberships include Silver Sneaker Classes. All other memberships do not include any classes.

What is the definition of family?

Family is defined as 5 individuals (2 adults and up to 3 dependent children  ages 23 or younger who reside at the same address. Any falsification of information will result in forfeiture of membership fees and revoked membership.

At what age can a child be in the center without an adult?

11 years old.
