Middleburg Heights Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is established by Charter Section 10.02. (link tbd) Zoning Code Chapter 1125 Describes the Planning Commission. (link tbd)

The Planning Commission consists of seven members. The Commission reviews and makes decisions on applications for development plans and associated landscape and parking waivers, new signage, and conditional use permits.

The Commission also reviews and makes decisions on some minor expansions, exterior changes and parking expansions referred by the Building Commissioner. The Commission makes recommendations to City Council on Zoning Code amendments, and Zoning Map amendments referred by City Council.

The Planning Commission meets the Second and Fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 15700 Bagley Road, when there is business to be heard. Meetings are open to the public.

Signage applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to a meeting, and all other applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to a meeting. Please see the instructions for each type of application.
