Mission Statement

Our duty as Middleburg Heights police officers is to help maintain a safe community for our residents, visitors and the thousands of businessmen and businesswomen who enter our city every day to work. We are sworn to protect our city from crime by enforcing the ordinances of Middleburg Heights, and the laws of the State of Ohio and our nation. We will do this to the best of our ability and in a manner that meets the highest professional standards

Police Department Organization

Our police department today serves the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The department operates three shifts to handle routine patrol, emergency calls, traffic enforcement, and crime prevention and investigation.

Our officers patrol 65 miles of city streets, and also provide traffic enforcement on a section of I-71.
