Shelter Donations

It is the policy of the City of Middleburg Heights to accept donations to offset the costs of treatment and care of animals in the City’s possession.

Donations for animal care will are used for items, such as:

  • Medical treatment
  • Medication
  • Vaccinations
  • Animal food and supplies

Wish List

The Middleburg Heights Animal Shelter consistently requires basic animal care and cleaning supplies essential for daily operations at our shelter. Your donations of these items play a significant role in ensuring the comfort of our animals. You can contribute by purchasing items from our list directly or conveniently shop online through our wish lists available on Amazon (TBD) and Chewy (TBD).

Your generous donation will be used for improvements to the shelter.

    • Kitten milk replacer (GNC, PetLac, KMR, NO Hartz please)
    • NON-CLUMPING LITTER. We go through about 2,500 POUNDS EVERY 3 WEEKS (Paws & Claws from Tractor Supply is the best deal)

  • Puppies:

    • Dry food (Purina ONE Puppy)
    • Durable puppy toys
  • Dogs:

    • Dry food: Regular and Small Bites (Purina ONE, any flavor)

    • Soft training treats

    • Bleach (kills 99% germs)
    • Paper towels
    • Latex gloves (disposable)
    • Scotch scrub pads
    • Dish soap

    • Clean leashes & collars in good shape (no retractable leashes, prong collars or shock collars)
