Central Park Project Update

Work continues to progress on the Middleburg Heights Central Park project, with several improvements and finishing details being completed throughout the park.

Recent work includes completion of the Community Garden gravel path and fencing, installation of fencing, and continued cleanup and finishing of the concrete seating areas. Crews are also completing painting and carpentry work on the onion swing structure and installing decorative stone beneath the swings. Work is also underway in the wooded area, including brush clearing and preparation for the Storybook Trail.

The asphalt connector path between the library and overflow parking lot has been completed, along with electrical conduit and meter box coordination.

Upcoming work includes finishing the aggregate pathways, beginning installation of additional decorative aggregate, and continued work on the onion swing area. The first order of sandstone blocks is anticipated to be delivered in October.
