Central Park Project Update

Work continues to progress on the Middleburg Heights Central Park project, with several improvements and finishing details underway throughout the park.

Recent work includes the installation of the gravel path for the Community Garden, decorative fencing, and the Community Garden fence. Crews are also completing painting and carpentry work on the onion swing structure, cleaning the concrete seating areas, and installing decorative stone beneath the onion swings.

Preparation is also underway for the Storybook Trail, including clearing brush along the future pathway where the trail will be installed.

The remaining sandstone for the monument sign and additional seating areas is expected to arrive in early 2027 due to supply backups.
