While we all enjoy seeing the community decorate their yards for the holidays, we can’t forget about the most common spectators of our yards, DEER! This Halloween, please remember to remove all handles or hooks of any kind that could possibly attach to a deer’s head or antlers. Each year we get several calls regarding deers with pumpkins caught around their necks, faces and antlers, putting both the animals and people in harms way. While a floating pumpkin is definitely spooky, it’s not fun, and very dangerous, for the deer in our community! This year, please remember to keep your decorations animal friendly and have a spooktacular Halloween!
