The Middleburg Heights Community Center offers multiple special events throughout the year.  Check back often for updates and newly added events!  We invite you to engage with us via our social media pages, view our photos from events, and leave questions, comments or concerns on our “Contact Rec” page.

The Recreation Department offers a week of kids (ages 8-14) activities FREE during the Berea City School District spring break. Activities such as Bubble Soccer, Big Ball Volleyball, Water Flag Football, Basketball Skills Challenge, Spikeball and much more will be offered! Non-resident guests must pay the daily admission fee except Thursday, which is our regular Member & Resident ONLY day. On the last Friday of the Berea City School District spring break, Warrior Week will end with the Clash of the Heightans. This is a Youth Sports Day (ages 10-15) featuring team sports like Dodgeball, Tug O War, Kickball, etc. Everyone must register and pay a fee to participate.
Join us for our annual Aquatics Egg Hunt in the indoor pool or our Outdoor Hunt on the ballfields. The indoor hunt is for ages 6 months to 10-years old, but you MUST pre-register. The outdoor hunt is free for ages 8 and under at 1 p.m. Kids will be divided by age group on our 3 fields (weather permitting).
Come show off your angler skills at the outdoor pool. Blue Gill, Bass, and Catfish will be taking a swim in the outdoor pool. Anglers can keep up to two fish or release unlimited fish back into the pool. Prizes will be awarded for most fish, biggest fish, or tagged fish caught. Limited rods, reels, and bait will be available. Staff will be on hand to assist. Pre-registration is required.
A poolside movie will be shown at the outdoor pool under the stars (weather permitting). Bring your favorite float and relax while watching a movie on the giant screen.
Last year’s FallFest was a huge success. We are currently reviewing gathering restrictions and paying close attention to the status of COVID-19 to determine if this popular get together can be a reality this Fall.
This FREE event for residents and Middleburg Heights businesses is held the Friday after Thanksgiving. Presented by the City of Middleburg Heights and the Middleburg Heights City Club, there will be special performances, refreshments, and a visit from Santa. We are currently reviewing gathering restrictions and paying close attention to the status of COVID-19 to determine if this popular get together can be a reality this Winter.
