Princesses will attend “The Royal Princess Ball” at the Middleburg Heights Community Center!

This past week there has been an overwhelming amount of troubling news throughout our country. At times it seems a bit overbearing and we would all like to put our heads in the sand and tune out or just hear something good. So today, the city of Middleburg Heights would like to share a little bit of good news about a few events happening in our community this weekend or in the near future.

This Sunday, April 21, please join the Earth Day Coalition for Earthfest 2013, right in our own backyard at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. The event begins at 10 am and runs until 5 pm. This group of tireless volunteers has raised awareness about renewable energy, pollution and recycling to make Planet Earth healthier, beautiful and cleaner. Here is the link for more information

Later that day don’t be surprised if you happen to see a fleet of young Disney princesses who will be attending “The Royal Princess Ball” at the Middleburg Heights Community Center. The small princesses will be greeted by the lifelike characters you find in Disney stories such as Cinderella and Snow White. This event is sold out, but the good news is they will be hosting another Princess Royal Ball in May. Please see the Community Center’s Facebook page for more details!

Speaking of Disney, we are proud to acknowledge that Middleburg Heights Firefighters will be joining our neighboring community firefighters in a mission to grant wishes for a few little kids involved in the “Make A Wish” Foundation. The wish is to go to Disney World with their families. Please support our firefighters’ efforts and join them in the event called “Raise the Ladder” on Thursday, May 2 from 6 pm until 9 pm being held at Rivals, located at 6710 Smith Road in Middleburg Heights. We will continue to remind you of this event, but for more information right now please go to
