On Friday, December 12, Mayor Gary Starr joined Fire Chief Briant Galgas and Assistant Chief John Desmarteau to accept four Little Anne® CPR manikins from Mr. Kirt Frye of the Sunnyside Automotive Group in Middleburg Heights; and from the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association, represented by Mr. Zach Doran, Director of Dealer Services, and Mr. Nathan Painter, Northern Ohio Member Services Coordinator.

Mr. Frye and his organization donated these invaluable educational tools to the Middleburg Heights Fire Department through a grant from the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation. The generous donation will enable the department to provide more CPR training opportunities to the local businesses and organizations in our community.

Chief Galgas, along with CPR training officer Brian Villwock, stated that the equipment could not have come at a better time. The current equipment is in need of extensive repair. This new equipment will allow the department to continue this vital service throughout the city without interruption.
