INTRODUCING THE LITTLE FREE LIBRARY AT THE MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT

On Tuesday, August 27, 2018 Police Chief Edward Tomba and Eric Smith, Special Agent in Charge of the Cleveland FBI 2018 held a ceremony to introduce the new Little Free Library at the Middleburg Heights Police Department. The Little Free Libraries Program was established by the FBI Cleveland Citizens Academy Alumni Association four years ago with the intent of making Police stations more welcoming to young children by providing books to occupy the children while their accompanying adults conducted their business. The Middleburg Heights Little Free Library is the 21st sponsored by the organization. The books are available to any child visiting the Middleburg Heights Police Department or municipal campus.
