Starting the week of April 14, 2014 and throughout the summer, the Middleburg Heights Fire Department will be testing the flow of water through all city hydrants. Signs will be posted in residential and commercial areas prior to testing. During the testing of the water line, you may notice in the water a brown discoloration. To restore clarity, the fire department recommends running the cold water at the lowest point in the home for a short period of time. If water flow becomes irregular, residents should remove and clean faucet screens and aerators.
For more information, the fire department can be reached at 440-243-1313, during regular business hours.
