Message from the Chief

The future is bright in Middleburg Heights – and that sentiment has never been more evident than it is now in your City’s Police Department. The accomplishments and positive things that have taken place and that are planned for will keep the Middleburg Heights Police Department in the forefront of the community.

Law enforcement expectations are changing, and the Middleburg Heights Police Department has embraced those changes becoming a fully committed partner with our residents. The department continues to hire young, qualified officers that are engaging with our community members daily. Officers continue to train and enhance their abilities more than ever.

The most outward sign of our commitment to the community is our new police station majestically located on the corner of Big Creek Parkway and Bagley Road.

This state-of-the-art building is more than just office space as it will serve the community by hosting community events, Safety-Town graduations, promotional ceremonies, retirement celebrations, educational and training meetings and much more.

On behalf of the men and women of the Middleburg heights Police Department I would like to thank all our supporters and restate our commitment to serving our community.

Sincerely,
Edward J. Tomba
Chief of Police
