Trained Professionals
Berea, Brook Park and Middleburg Heights firefighters participated in the State of Ohio Fire Academy Fire Behavior Lab from Oct 17 – 19th. The State of Ohio Fire Academy provides not only the use of the simulator, but also provides the instructors to teach the firefighters about the danger of flashover during a fire. The training is provided for free as part of a grant offered to fire department who train together.
Berea, Brook Park and Middleburg Heights train together monthly as part of a regional training program that has been in place for over 12 years.
