Many attended the dedication, ribbon cutting and open house for the new Middleburg Heights Police station.

The community gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting for our new police station. All were welcomed by Lt. Eric Burgett who emceed the celebration.  Also in attendance was Cleveland Police Department Honor Guard, Metroparks Mounted Horse Unit, Cleveland Police Department Pipes and Drums.  A rendition of the National Anthem was sung by Cleveland Police Officer, Pete Williams.

Speaking on this historic occasion were Mayor Matthew Castelli, Chief of Police Edward Tomba and Representative Thomas Patton. The invocation was performed by Pastor Jonathan Schaeffer of Grace Church.

Mayor Castelli commented that “the new police station represents a commitment to our residents, business owners and visitors that our city is invested in a better quality of life for all.”
