First Public Meeting is a Success as Redevelopment Plans for the Southland Shopping Center Business District are Reviewed

Mayor Matthew Castelli was joined by City Council at the first public meeting about the redevelopment plans for the Southland Shopping Center business district. Mayor Castelli and Middleburg Heights City Council are working with property owners, developers and businesses on plans to renew and revitalize Southland. The City will also apply for a grant to fund improvements on Smith Road which will facilitate this transformative development initiative. Additional meetings will be held at the Middleburg Heights Community Center, 16000 Bagley Road, on July 27th and August 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
