Middleburg Heights Fire Department Provides Support in Vaccination Effort
While State officials are in-charge of the vaccine, the City of Middleburg Heights is making a contribution to help distribution move along with care and safety.
Middleburg Heights Firefighter/Paramedics continue to assist the Cuyahoga County Board of Health by administering the vaccine to individuals at the Berea Fairgrounds. Additionally, our Firefighter/Paramedics are supporting Southwest General medical staff at the Middleburg Heights Community Center with vaccine distribution.
“We have qualified people that can jump in and make a difference in the community right now,” said Middleburg Heights Fire Chief Briant Galgas. “We have found tremendous support in our Police Department and our Recreation Department as safety is paramount in these situations.”
The Fire Department will continue to make residents aware of vaccine deployment by updating the Middleburg Heights website with important information that can be found at the quick link at the top of the home page. This vaccine information will be updated often, so check the website daily.
The City of Middleburg Heights continues to work closely with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health and our community medical partners to help ensure vaccinations are made available to all residents eligible to receive the vaccination as outlined by the Ohio Department of Health vaccination protocol. opens in a new windowThe Ohio Department of Health.
