The City of Middleburg Heights (“City”) is accepting Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for Construction Manager (“CM”) at Risk Services for the proposed relocation of the Middleburg Heights Police Department as part of an adaptive re-use of the former Middleburg Heights Branch of the Cuyahoga County Library (City owned building) at Bagley Road and Big Creek Parkway on the Middleburg Heights Municipal Campus. The existing building is a one-story, masonry building of approximately 12,000 sf. Scope of work will involve some site and utility improvements, a full interior renovation and partial exterior renovation of the existing building, with an approximately 5,500 gsf masonry garage addition and an approximately 750 sf front addition. Preliminary total project cost is estimated at $4.9M.
