SCARLET AND GRAY, JUST FOR THE DAY!

honor“There are no quacks in Middleburg Heights,” said Mayor Gary W. Starr, referring to the Oregon State Duck fans! “Well, at least that’s what we are hoping.”

That’s why, after Ohio State dismantled Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, the Mayor decided to encourage residents and employees in the City of Middleburg Heights to plan their fashion ensemble accordingly for Monday, January 12, 2015. THE BIG GAME!

“We need to be supportive of our state and celebrate Ohio State University’s possibility of being the number one football team in the nation,” said Mayor Starr.

As you probably know, the Ohio State Buckeyes will compete in the NCAA football national title game this coming Monday.

So whaddaya say, Middleburg Heights Titans fans and all other sports enthusiasts? Are you able to support your home state  “O. H. I. O.” for one day and surrender your allegiances to any other team?

We are hoping to see Middleburg Heights residents and city employees clad in Ohio State University’s primary colors – scarlet and gray – just for the day!
