RESIDENTS CAN RALLY TO FIGHT HUNGER

The community has rallied each year to support our anti-hunger efforts, and we humbly ask your participation once again. The 11th Annual Middleburg Heights Elected Officials Food Drive will take place Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the parking lot of Heinen’s (at Bagley and Pearl). All food and cash donations will go to the Middleburg Heights Food Pantry and S.C.A.N. Hunger Center.

High-demand food items needed:
• peanut butter
• jelly
• pasta/macaroni
• spaghetti sauce
• cereal
• canned or dry milk
• canned meals
• canned meats (tuna, chicken, ham, corned beef)
• baked beans
• sugar
• rice
• applesauce
• ketchup
• salad dressing
• coffee
• tea
• cooking oil
• canned fruit and juices
• instant mashed potatoes

Non-food items needed:
• paper towels
• toilet paper
• paper napkins
• soap
• laundry products
• baby supplies
• toothpaste
• personal care items
