Police

Message
from the Chief

As your police chief, I'm very grateful for the strong public support that our department and officers enjoy.

Support for law enforcement is a key element in helping to create and maintain a safe community.

I'm very proud of our department. We have well-educated and well-trained professional officers. Middleburg Heights is one of only a handful of communities in Ohio that require its police officers to have a college degree in criminology or related branch of law enforcement.

Our website offers useful information about crime prevention, our department and the services we provide. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

Sincerely,
John Maddox
Chief of Police
