Health Care Reform educational event March 1st

Southwest General will offer an educational session on Health Care Reform and Ohio’s Health Care Exchange on Saturday, March 1, 10 a.m., in the Williams Conference Center (located in the basement of the L. Jon Schurmeier Pavilion [Building C]).

Participants will learn more about what the Health Care Exchange is, how to enroll, how to see if you qualify for reduced premium costs and more.

Time is running out!  The month of March is extremely important for those considering coverage through the exchange. Open enrollment ends Monday, March 31, 2014.  After that, most people will have to wait until 2015 for coverage, and also could incur tax penalties for non-coverage for 2014.

Exchange counselors and representatives from the area’s participating insurance companies will be present to answer specific plan questions and even help attendees enroll.  Light refreshments will be provided.

The seminar is FREE, and open to the public, but please R.S.V.P. as space is limited.  Participants who R.S.V.P., will be entered for a chance to win one of several prizes including gift certificates and an iPad Mini (must be present to win).
